In short
- arcx is a Windows desktop app (the launcher) and a set of live stream games offered by Ahmet Koçak.
- You use the app under a personal, non-transferable licence.
- You are responsible for your stream’s content, music and game settings, and you must follow TikTok’s rules.
- The live stream connection is not the official TikTok API: This is not the official TikTok API; your account may be restricted.
- Uploading clips to TikTok uses TikTok’s official API and happens only with your confirmation.
- arcx is not affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance.
1. Parties and acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Ahmet Koçak (Kentkoop Mah. 1820. Cad., Yenimahalle/Ankara), an individual trading as arcx (“we”), about your use of the arcx.store website, the arcx launcher and the games that run with it (together, “arcx” or the “service”).
By installing or using the launcher you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use arcx. Your personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
arcx provides games that live streamers play together with their viewers. The service consists of:
- Launcher: a game library, an offline simulator, a game window and a local stage URL for adding the game to LIVE Studio or OBS, and a status and performance panel.
- Games: live stream games where viewers’ comments, likes and gifts trigger effects that are known in advance and involve no chance.
- Clip Studio: recording short vertical (1080×1920) videos of the game on your computer, ready-made simulator scenarios and caption suggestions.
- Send to TikTok: sending a clip you recorded to your own TikTok account through TikTok’s official API. This feature is enabled after TikTok’s app review.
arcx is a continuously developed product; features may change, be added or be removed. Paid plans are not on sale yet and no fees are charged at the moment. When paid plans open, purchases will be subject to a pre-contract information form, a distance sales contract, and refund and subscription terms that you accept separately; these will be published before sales start.
3. Who may use arcx
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You must meet the live streaming requirements of the platform you stream on (for example TikTok LIVE’s age and account requirements).
- If you use arcx on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms.
4. Licence
As long as you comply with these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to use arcx in your own streams. Device and username limits for paid plans are stated in the plan description.
- You may not copy, distribute, sell or rent the launcher or the games.
- You may not share or transfer your licence code or account.
- Except where the law expressly permits it, you may not reverse engineer, modify or circumvent protection measures of the software.
- You may not use arcx to build a competing product.
5. Acceptable use
When using arcx you must comply with applicable law and the rules of the platform you stream on — on TikTok, the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and LIVE rules. In particular:
- Do not use arcx to create or spread unlawful, hateful, harassing, violent, sexual or child-endangering content.
- Do not pressure viewers to send gifts, run gift-based games of chance, raffles or gambling, or make unrealistic earnings promises.
- Do not present simulator footage or simulated clips as real viewer interaction.
- Do not use other people’s accounts without their permission.
- Do not use arcx in a way that disrupts, overloads or abuses the services it connects to (TikTok, Euler Stream, our token server).
6. Your responsibilities as a streamer
- Content: you are responsible for everything in your stream and in the clips you share.
- Music and rights: you must hold the rights to any music, footage or other content you add to your stream. Game music bundled with arcx games may be used in streams and clips that show arcx games.
- Game settings: you choose the games’ settings (for example which events are shown on screen) and you are responsible for ensuring they comply with your platform’s rules. If a game with a slang level or text-to-speech is added, we will keep its defaults moderate and try to filter hate speech, slurs and personal data, but no filter is perfect and moderating your stream is up to you.
- Unattended streams and Experiment mode: the launcher includes an “Experiment mode (unattended)” for short, controlled tests with nobody present. It is off by default and requires a separate risk confirmation to switch on. Streaming with nobody present may breach TikTok LIVE rules and significantly increases the risk that your account is restricted or banned. We do not recommend it; if you switch this mode on, you are responsible for compliance and for the consequences.
- Viewer data: viewer data from your stream is processed on your computer and you are its controller. If real viewer names appear in a clip, it is up to you to consider that before sharing it.
7. TikTok LIVE connection: risk disclosure
This is not the official TikTok API; your account may be restricted. The launcher receives public events from your stream, read-only, through an unofficial open-source library and a third-party signing service (Euler Stream). This method is not supported by TikTok, and:
- TikTok may change or block this connection at any time; it may stop working temporarily or permanently.
- TikTok may restrict or ban your account. We design our games to avoid known restriction triggers, but we cannot prevent this and do not guarantee that no restriction will occur.
- The third-party signing service may be interrupted or change its terms.
The connection is read-only and never asks for your TikTok password or session data. These risks are stated clearly in these terms and on the product page; by starting the live connection you accept them. Switching on Experiment mode (unattended) additionally requires a risk confirmation checkbox. The simulator works without connecting to TikTok at all.
8. TikTok account connection and clip upload (official API)
- This feature is not active yet; once enabled after TikTok’s app review it works as described in this section.
- Sending clips to TikTok uses TikTok’s official Login Kit and Content Posting API. Connecting your account is optional; you grant permissions on TikTok’s consent screen and can withdraw them at any time.
- No clip is uploaded unless you confirm sending that clip. For drafts you finish posting in the TikTok app; for direct posts you choose the caption, privacy and interaction settings on the posting screen.
- Content you upload to TikTok is subject to TikTok’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; you are responsible for what you post.
- Availability of this feature depends on TikTok’s approval and limits (for example daily posting caps, or private-only posting before audit). If TikTok changes or removes access, the feature may stop working.
- The TikTok account connection is completely separate from the live stream connection; tokens obtained through the official API are never used by the live connection.
9. Independence and trademarks
arcx is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, TikTok, ByteDance, YouTube, Kick or Twitch. The phrase 'compatible with TikTok LIVE' is descriptive only.
All trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
10. Intellectual property
- The launcher, games, characters, graphics, game music, texts and the “arcx” name belong to us or our licensors. No rights pass to you other than the licence expressly granted in these terms.
- The content of your streams and clips is yours. You may share recordings of streams showing arcx games, and clips recorded with Clip Studio, free of charge and without time limit to promote your own streams and channels (including on TikTok).
- We may use suggestions and feedback you send us to improve the product without any obligation to you.
11. Third-party services
arcx works together with third-party services such as Windows, TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS, TikTok, Euler Stream, GitHub and Cloudflare. These services have their own terms; we are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make.
12. Warranty
We build arcx with care, but to the extent permitted by law the service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors, or that it will produce any particular number of viewers, gifts, income or reach. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
13. Limitation of liability
- Our liability for intent and gross negligence is not limited (Art. 115 Turkish Code of Obligations). Damage to life, body or personality rights and consumers’ mandatory statutory rights are also unaffected.
- Outside those exceptions, only for slight negligence and to the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with arcx is limited to the higher of the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and TRY 1,000.
- Subject to the same exceptions, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or income, or account restrictions resulting from platform decisions as described in section 7.
- You are responsible, in proportion to your fault, for third-party claims against us arising from your breach of these terms.
14. Termination
- You can stop using arcx at any time: disconnect your TikTok account and uninstall the launcher. To delete data on your computer, follow the steps in the Privacy Policy.
- If you materially breach these terms (for example by sharing a licence or using arcx unlawfully), we may suspend or end your licence, with prior notice where possible. Refunds for paid plans follow the sales documents.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability, governing law) remain in effect.
15. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
- Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the consumer arbitration committee at their place of residence or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits set each year, and to consumer courts above those limits (Law No. 6502, Articles 68 and 73).
- For users who are not consumers, the courts and enforcement offices of Ankara have jurisdiction.
- Consumers resident in the European Union keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of their country of residence and may bring claims in their local courts.
16. Changes
We may change these terms. We will announce material changes on the site and in the launcher at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the new terms you can stop using arcx; if you have a paid period, you may request a pro-rata refund for the remaining time.
17. General
- If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
- If arcx is transferred to a company, we may transfer this agreement to it with notice to you, provided your rights are not reduced.
- The Turkish version of these terms prevails in case of conflict with this translation, without prejudice to interpretation in favour of consumers.
